Tanya Tucker Page

I've been a Tanya Tucker fan for about twelve years now. I spent the first seven years gathering every album/CD in her discography. If you think that was easy, imagine trying to find a record that hasn't been heard of since 1975...multiply that by about ten....In the end, though, I managed to collect them all. (Except the latest one, which I can't seem to find anywhere. Maybe it's because she's started her own record company that it's so hard to find in my part of the world, but it's driving me crazy! ) Anyway, if anyone is interested in finding out what her previous 32 albums were (and the songs that were on them), here is her extended discography. It may just be the only one of its kind on the Internet. I certainly couldn't find one. That's why I typed it up myself.

Also, when I was young--18 to 21 or so-- and trying my hand at poetry (I was awful at it, by the way), I wrote a couple of poems on my perceptions of Tanya at the time. I've been less interested in the personal lives of the artists I enjoy listening to and watching on screen since then, but I'm including them here in case someone decides to read them. I warn you now that they aren't that great.

Tanya's Song
She's Come a Long Way

In 1997, there were a lot of "Everything I needed to know in Lifes" floating around. You know, "Everything I needed to know in life, I learned from Star Trek", or "Everything I needed to know in life, I learned from my cat". I decided to write my own Tanya Tucker centred one. Here's "Everything I Needed to Know in Life, I Learned from a Tanya Tucker Song".
